studied. The E. coli and staphylococcus are bacteria, which are still
cells, but they are different from the ones that are in people.
- How DNA changed an atheist's mind
- This site has information related to one of the world's most famous
FORMER atheists, Antony Flew. He now says that DNA is just too well
designed to be the product of chance. Thus, it was created.

- This site has a great video about a man who tried to figure out how
life arose without a creator and ended up believing in God. It has good
visuals of DNA and protein synthesis.

- This site has a very detailed discussion of bone growth. The

- This site has a good animation for bone repair, and it shows X-rays of a bone in three stages of a fracture.

- This site has a good animation that includes general information
about bones, how a wrist can get broken, and what is done for treatment.

- This video goes into a lot more depth than the book, and it "opens up" the skull so you can see the bones inside.

the human body.

- How muscles work
- This is a great overview of many of the things discussed in the
course. There is a good video about how much science can help to grow
muscles and a good animation of the three different kinds of muscle
tissue.
- The Muscle System
- This is a cute animation about the muscule system.
- Eye movements
- This is a very detailed discussion of how we control the movement of our eyes.
- Arm movement animation
- This shows you how the biceps and triceps works to flex and extend your forearm. Click on a muscle to make it contract.
- Tendons of the foot
- Your body has a LOT of tendons. To give you an idea, look at how many are in just your feet.
- Muscle tissue
- There are several good microscope images of smooth, cardiac, and skeletal muscle here.
- Muscle fiber contraction
- In this really cool video, a scientist separates muscle cells until
he gets to a single fiber. He then looks at it under the microscope and
adds a form of chemical energy (called "ATP") to make it contract.
- Muscles of the body
- This site uses a model to show you many of the body's muscles. Click
on a region, and then move your mouse over the picture of the model.
When you left-click, it will show you the name of the muscle.

Australian). The main thing to do is look at all the great microscopic
